Marsh appoints CEO of Bowring

Insurance broker and risk adviser Marsh has announced the appointment of Nicholas Bacon as the new chief executive officer of Bowring Marsh.

Bacon replaces Mark Gregory as CEO of the specialist international placement broker, with Gregory moving to a senior post with a major insurance carrier.

Bacon will assume his new position on 1 November, and report directly to the CEO of Marsh International, Alex Moczarski.

Moczarski has welcomed the appointment, and praised Bacon’s calibre and experience.

Moczarski went on to thank Gregory for his substantial contribution to the firm, adding that the firm looked forward to continuing its links with him in his new position.

Bacon has expressed his excitement at becoming CEO of Bowring Marsh, going on to say that he intended to continue the firm’s global success.
